The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of our excavation business. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of excavation, grading, and utility processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Day to Day operations, Plan, direct, and coordinate all excavation operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.

- Assist in fueling and moving of equipment when necessary.

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project objectives are met.

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.

- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff.

- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

- Implement and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team.

 

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role within the excavation or construction industry.

- Proven track record of successfully managing residential excavation and utility projects.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
