The Order Fulfillment Coordinator will be responsible for warehouse order fulfillment, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining inventory. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. We are seeking team members who share our company values and have a desire to help create a progressive and collaborative work environment.

 

What you’ll do as the Order Fulfillment Coordinator:

  • Pick and pack orders in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Update the inventory management software to reflect accurate inventory and order fulfillment status.
  • Receive inventory, check for correctness against purchase orders, and inspect for defects or damage.
  • Store inventory in the proper areas to optimize space and accessibility; ensure all stock items are labeled.
  • Proactively place orders for new materials when inventory levels are low.
  • Perform routine inventory checks to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Request freight quotes for all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Organize inbound and outbound freight for all orders.
  • Coordinate loading and unloading of shipments.
  • Properly operate the forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Track warehouse consumables and maintain baseline stock levels.
  • Ensure the warehouse is neat, well-organized, and clear of risks and obstacles while performing general duties.
  • Maintain housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse, including cleaning, general upkeep, sweeping the floors, etc.
  • Adhere to health and safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Stand in as needed for any vacancies on the panel fabrication team.

 

What should be in your tool kit:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • A creative and self-starter mindset with strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Experience using an inventory management system.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Adaptability and a commitment to learning new processes and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 60 lbs.
  • Forklift experience, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where the playbook is being created.
  • Values including creativity, humility, empathy, ambition, curiosity, and trust.
