Job Summary
We are seeking a strong, experienced and strategic Operations/Human Resources Manager to help manage the day-to-day operations of mental health clinic. Work closely with the CEO to ensure that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory and communication skills, a deep understanding of human resources principles, and the ability to drive organizational success through effective HR strategies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the hiring and training of operations and administrative staff.

  • Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of operations and administrative staff and department managers

  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Duties

  • Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.

  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.

  • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.

  • Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.

  • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.

  • Improves consumer satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.

  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.

  • Reviews work of billing staff to ensure accuracy, resolving inconsistencies as needed.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the HR team, including recruitment, training, and performance management

  • Assist with managing payroll

  • Review weekly denied insurance claims

  • Manage the insurance credentialing process for company and staff

  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and according to company policies, DBH and The Joint Commission standards

  • Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.

  • 3- 5 years experience managing day to day operations and supervising staff

  • Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and laws

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient analytical, decision-making and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategicall

  • Outstanding organizational skill and attention to detail

  • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills

  • Excel, Microsoft Word
