Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of facility personnel to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address facility-related issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial reports to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting of facility-related expenses.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure that facilities are maintained to the highest standard and that all necessary repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on operations and maintenance.
  • Proven track record of success in managing and supervising teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex facility-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of facility management principles, practices, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
  • Proficient in understanding management agreements and contract language.
  • Excellent computer and systems knowledge, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or other relevant industry certifications.
  • Experience with CMMS/Work Order Management systems.
  • Knowledge of financial systems, including Yardi.
  • Skilled in Building Management Systems maintenance and monitoring.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, with occasional travel to other facilities and sites. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.
