This position is located at our retail store in Sioux City, IA. Sioux City is located on the Missouri River and is home to many great attractions such as the Sioux City Public Museum, the Sioux City Art Center, the Sergeant Floyd Monument, and Stone State Park, among others.

Position Description:

As the Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for assisting the store team to successfully operate a memorial store.  The ideal candidate is a compassionate team player with exceptional customer service and organizational skills.  If you fit this description, Apply Today

Essential Functions

  • Greet families visiting the showroom, answer phone calls and respond to emails. 
  • Prospecting with letters, leads, and community events
  • Maintain and enter customer and cemetery information
  • Support the Memorial Consultant / Store Manager in assisting families with their memorial selection
  • Schedule memorial settings with setting team, sextons, and families

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-3 years customer service
  • An understanding of funeral home, granite or retail store operations

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to hire
  • Completion of technology testing and background check
  • Ability to travel to St. Cloud, MN for training and annual sales meetings
