Job DescriptionJob Description

Join Harger Lightning & Grounding, a leader in the lightning protection industry. We are seeking an experienced technical Technical Sales Project Coordinator to coordinate lightning protection and grounding projects from initial customer request through product delivery. This includes reaching out to internal and external contacts, delegating, and tracking step-by-step progress.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all customer project requests including front end review of plans.
  • Enter project information into our ERP system.
  • Determine pricing levels in conjunction with the National Sales Manager.
  • Manage Preliminary Design Estimates follow-up tracking.
  • Prepare all approved shop drawing BOM’s for distribution partners.
  • Provide accurate pricing, manufacturing, and delivery lead times to aid in timely project completion.
  • Maintain department spreadsheets.
  • Create ballpark estimates as needed.

Education, Experience and Preferred Skills

  • High School diploma is required. Some college is preferred.
  • Electrical or construction industry related experience is desired.
  • Ability to evaluate technical drawings, blueprints or proposals and accurately interpret them.
  • Work independently and provide accurate information.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of Navision ERP system is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills; written and oral.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient math ability.
