Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects in the Chicago area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction, strong leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage project teams, subcontractors, and resources effectively.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
