Business Hours: Mon- Fri, 9am – 6pm

We specialize in authentic Hawaiian plate lunches and other island specialties, prepared fresh daily using the finest ingredients. Our goal is to bring a taste of the islands to our customers while delivering exceptional service in an inviting atmosphere.

Job Overview: The Accounts Receivable Specialist III (restaurant accounting) position is responsible for the processes and systems related to but not limited to the following: Order management, cash application, credit processing, and AR Collections support. This position serves as liaison for licensing reporting in conjunction with Licensing and Legal. The accountant (Restaurant Accounting) bills and collects licensing and international royalties and expenses.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist AR Supervisor and actively participate in the day-to-day AR Accounting
  • Back up for AR Supervisor and other AR Staff
  • Correspond with tenant and employee to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
  • Review lease agreement and contract for billing and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely monthly closing for store and quarterly for holdings.
  • Receive, open, and organize daily sales journal and credit card receipts from stores every Friday.
  • Review and verify the store’s daily sales journal report.
  • Process and verify the daily sales information data in the system.
  • Verify and research against the sales journal report if there is discrepancy.
  • Verify and research credit card chargeback.
  • Box and stock all stores sales journal, reports and credit card receipt each month for each store.
  • Prepare and verify bank check for deposit.
  • Download POS report and insert formula for tax calculation.
  • Tenant collection and apply rental payment.
  • Preparation and filing for Sales Tax with Multiple locations in CA and AZ
  • In charge of Residential and Commercial Rental Property invoice, review lease agreement, collection, review aging and sales tax filling
  • In charge of Food Delivery Vendor data verification, reports, and integration
  • Prepare and review monthly AR reports, sales data analysis, chargeback, and related reports.
  • The company or supervisor may assign other duties and responsibilities.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field strongly desired.
  • 5 years of experience minimum in Accounts Receivable.
  • Analytical skills are a must.
  • Restaurant 365 is our Accounting Software which is desired but not required.
  • Microsoft Excel experience. (Pivot Tables, V-lookup etc.)
  • Proficient in Adobe.
