TraknProtect currently has a career opportunity for an IoT Hardware Technician.

Job Overview

We are looking for an outstanding IoT Hardware Technician who combines technical hardware provisioning skills with a demonstrated ability to get things done quickly and effectively.  This person must be comfortable working in a small team.  We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and loves working with the assembly and programming of IoT hardware.  This position will report directly to the CTO.

In this position, your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

·       Configuring BLE, LTE & Wi-Fi technologies in IoT products.

·       Preparing, programming and shipping hardware for new customers.

·       Testing and troubleshooting of IoT hardware.

·       Managing inventory counts and reporting for business operations.

·       Working with procurement to place orders for hardware, shipping and supplies.

·       Assist with the setup and installation of hardware at customer sites.

·       Participate in hardware design reviews.

Qualifications:

·       Experience working with IoT hardware projects

·       Knowledge of Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or similar Engineering discipline

·       High attention to detail, accountability, and ownership.

·       Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
