Position Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Des Moines, IA

Contract Duration: 3 months with potential for permanent placement

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Oversees, evaluates, troubleshoots, and rectifies issues with computer systems, hardware, and associated peripherals.
  • Records, maintains, upgrades, or substitutes hardware and software systems, including desktops, Point of Sale (POS) equipment, and printers.
  • Educates staff, identifies, assesses, and resolves product malfunctions, and orders replacement parts as necessary.
  • Ensures strong customer focus by adhering to deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).

Is this the right opportunity for you? (Qualifications):

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in desktop and/or deskside support.
  • Prior experience in Field Service and/or Desktop, POS, and printer Break/Fix roles.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting capabilities coupled with excellent customer service skills.
  • Must possess reliable transportation and a clean driving record (this role requires driving, with reimbursement provided).
  • CompTIA A+ certification is required.
