Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented New Patient Scheduler to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, maintaining schedules, and ensuring efficient patient flow within the medical facility. Phone call handling is the main responsibility.
 
 Responsibilities 
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure proper allocation of resources for each appointment
  • Manage patient records and update information as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Tebra for scheduling purposes
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and records to assist in scheduling appropriate services
  • Prioritize urgent care appointments and handle scheduling changes promptly
