Responsibilities of the Training and Development Manager

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify training needs through job analysis, performance evaluations and solutions with managers and department heads.
  • Create training materials, manuals and documentation.
  • Coordinate with training providers when necessary
  • Utilize various training methods, including e-learning, in-person sessions and on-the-job training.
  • Develop individual development plans for employees to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support professional development
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make improvements as needed
  • Work with managers to identify performance gaps and develop strategies to address them
  • Assist in the development of performance improve plans for underperforming employees
  • Track and report employee progress and performance improvements.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations and standar4ds
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes
  • Prepare reports on training metrics and effective for management review.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements of the Training and Development Manager

  • Work schedule is 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, In office.
  • Certification in training and development highly preferred
  • Proven experience in employee training and development, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisor/leadership role
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Computer/Technology Proficiency – MS Office
  • Ethical Practice.
  • Occasional travel up to 30% of the time may be required to various company locations.
