Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments. The ideal candidate possess strong analytical skills, has a knack for creating effective schedules and prioritizing tasks, and has the ability to effectively communicate amongst peers and potentially customers. Ultimately, the Production Scheduler will ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

The Production Scheduler’s main duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Creating and Maintaining Schedules:
    • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity.
    • Coordinate with relevant team members to develop and adjust schedules as necessary, to meet production goals.
  2. Analyzing Production Specifications:
    • Review project proposals to determine the most efficient use of resources.
  3. Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Monitor the progress of projects and report progress to management.
    • Resolve any potential delays promptly.
  4. Resource Management:
    • Ensure that all necessary resources are available to meet client demands.
    • Update production schedules to accommodate capacity constraints and opportunities.
  5. Issue Resolution:
    • Assess and identify any issues that might impact the production schedule and implement corrective actions where necessary.
    • Work closely with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
  6. Communication:
    • Communicate with management and other stakeholders about the status of production schedules and any potential issues that may arise.
    • Optimize production operations for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with land surveying processes is a plus.
