Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately assemble components in accordance with blueprints, routers, and specifications.
  • Diligently complete assembly checklists.
  • Monitor inventory requirements within the work area.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company standards.
  • Comply with the Wabtec Code of Conduct.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
  • The employee must:
    • Be able to hear.
    • Read, write, and communicate in English.
    • Stand and/or walk for extended periods.
    • Lift up to 25 pounds independently.
    • Operate a forklift and overhead crane.
  • Wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection as required.
  • Be present on-site during scheduled shifts for direct interactions.
Work Environment:
  • Work on the production floor with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes and moderate noise levels.
