Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Western Building Products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of your team members to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production schedules are aligned with customer demand and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Train, develop, and coach your team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of progressive responsibility in a production and/or warehouse setting.
  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control standards, with the ability to implement and maintain high-quality production standards.
