We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to become a part of our team

Overview: The Assistant Property Manager (APM) position is intended to be a learning platform to prepare the APM for a full time position as a Property Manager (PM) with their own portfolio. The APM is responsible for effectively supporting the Property Manager in the day to day management of one or more portfolios, in accordance with the Management Agreements, goals and objectives of Ownership. CA Real Estate license required.

Responsibilities:

  • Attract and educate new tenants
  • Process new tenant applications
  • Investigate and resolve tenant complaints
  • Update and improve properties to increase return on investment
  • Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
  • Enforce property and associations' rules and regulations
  • Conduct periodic property inspections

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management or other related fields.
  • Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases; Active real estate license required.
  • Ability to build rapport with tenants and owners
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Maintenance background encouraged
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel and property management software encouraged.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaking a plus.
  • Experience with Appfolio software a plus.
