Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall performance of assigned properties, including occupancy levels and on-site staff.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with property owners, addressing individual requests and requirements promptly.
  • Resolve resident concerns and issues with a high level of service, and manage rent collections, eviction processes, and court hearings as needed.
  • Develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies, conduct property showings, and oversee the application process.
  • Conduct regular unit and property inspections, manage turnover processes, and prepare property condition reports.
  • Oversee and issue maintenance requests, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain and create resident files, manage invoices and expenses, and perform routine property inspections.
  • Stay informed about property competition and market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
  • Be on-call for emergency situations as needed.
Requirements
  • Scattered-site fee management experience with multiple owner clients preferred, with proven supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) and at least 2 years of experience with Appfolio software.
  • Strong understanding of California Landlord-Tenant Law and property management best practices.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel as required.
  • Valid driver's license and no major violations on record.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
