POSITION PURPOSE: Support the The Institute for Cultural Engagement (TICE) program administratively to ensure a seamless programmatic experience which will enhance the experience of student’s seeking their unique design and divine purpose.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Logistics and Communications:

  • Oversee logistics and communications of all TICE service events with community partners, and assist with student/family communication as needed
  • Ensure all TICE events (speaking events, workshops, Foundry events, field trips and travel study) are fully supported administratively by handling things from initial Espace set up requests to ensuring hospitality gift bags and thank you notes for speakers
  • Handle all LION time assignments for Foundry Lunches with TICE students
  • Ensure all TICE center student rosters and records are kept up to date and accurate which includes Student Member Information
  • Ensure there are personalized TICE course sheets for all TICE students before registration
  • Track all TICE student internship hours and documentation
  • Track all TICE endorsement completions and communicate to College Counseling for seniors
  • Assist with TICE Pro Partnership meetings, and ensure communication for those meetings is complete
  • Partner with the Asst Head of US, TICE to complete the Quarterly Board reports and monthly newsletters
  • Ensure students receive communication on upcoming events, internships, and relevant information around those items such as how to register, etc…
  • Keep TICE related social media accounts updated
  • Coordinate the new TICE student welcome process – communication and any hospitality items
  • Oversee and communicate with TICE students on Governor School admission and attendance
  • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating events on the TICE calendar such as speakers, field trips, and service events
  • Responsible for all catering needs of the events
  • Communicate with all speakers to ensure they are well informed about all details of the event and ensure a hospitable experience for each of them

Budget:

  • Manage and oversee the TICE budget
  • Order TICE merchandise, speaker gifts and other expenses needed for the program
  • Order materials, curriculum, books and supplies for TICE instructors and center heads
  • Handle all speaker honorariums and reimbursements
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for speakers, travel, study trips and TICE tours


Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience will be considered

Experience

  • 3 years in a fast-paced office environment, education setting experience prioritized
  • Skills and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong planning and anticipation of needs
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities at one time
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

General

Physical

  • Requires standing and walking intermittently throughout a significant portion of the day (up to 2/3 of the day)
