In this position, the associate will support the Head of Defined Contribution Marketing in creating innovative materials and executing cohesive campaigns to elevate our DC business within the large-mega market institutional sector, targeting plan sponsors directly.
Our institutional marketing team develops and implements a strategic marketing framework that reinforces AllianceBernstein's reputation as a thoughtful and client-centric institutional investment manager, known for exceptional investment professionals and robust investment capabilities.
The associate will collaborate with the Head of Global Institutional Marketing and the Head of North America Institutional Marketing to create and disseminate diverse marketing content, including emails, presentations, videos, and webpages, while coordinating events and facilitating internal communication with sales and client service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
The Marketing Associate will engage closely with various internal departments such as Sales & Client Services, Marketing, Creative, Legal and Compliance, and Business Development, along with external partners.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the marketing production process (emails, presentations, videos, webpages) by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Developing and managing marketing emails and campaigns on digital platforms for various initiatives.
- Assisting the sales team in maintaining current email distribution lists.
- Monitoring engagement metrics for email campaigns and thought leadership promotions.
- Communicating marketing analytics to key stakeholders.
- Updating featured content on the website's landing page to reflect the latest promotional materials.
- Reviewing and ensuring that webpage content is accurate and up-to-date on a quarterly basis.
- Managing social media content creation and project plans in partnership with design, editorial, compliance, and product teams.
- Coordinating with the events team to create registration websites and promote events to enhance attendance.
- Crafting marketing materials for external conference sponsorships and tracking attendance.
- Occasionally collaborating with the video team to create marketing videos and with the Editorial team to develop white papers and reports.
- Sharing vital information with sales teams regarding marketing materials to maximize content utilization.
- Contributing to internal communications to keep the sales team informed about the latest marketing collateral.
- Regularly updating core marketing materials, including firm overview slides and institutional brochures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A bachelor's degree in communications, finance, business management, or marketing, demonstrating academic excellence.
- Two to three years of experience in financial services, with a focus on investments, marketing, and business development.
- A keen interest in designing digital marketing tools, including emails, web content, and social media.
- A proactive approach to mastering new technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas to a diverse audience of internal stakeholders.
- The capability to drive projects independently and collaboratively.
- A desire to deepen knowledge of the industry and AllianceBernstein's investment strategies.
