Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient triaging
  • Point of care testing: strep, influenza, mono, urine pregnancy, urinalysis, COVID-19
  • Performing injections, EKGs, phlebotomy
  • Dispensing medications and other treatments
  • Assisting the physicians with procedures as needed
  • Patient call backs
  • Performing employer services (drug and alcohol testing, respirator fit testing, pulmonary function tests and more)
  • Laboratory quality controls
  • Patient registration, phone answering
The ideal candidate is:
  • Friendly, professional, hard-working and has a contagious positive attitude that inspires others
  • Genuine and kind making each patient feel welcomed and special
  • Strong and effective with verbal and written communications that is clear, professional and positive
  • Dependable, able to multitask and is overall a team player
  • General flexibility in scheduling is a must; weekend availability is a must
  • Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
