We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. You will be primarily responsible for assisting in sending inquiries to vendors, processing and updating purchase quotes, and following up on open inquiries and queries.
Typical Tasks:
- Process all purchase inquiries on the same day and send to the correct vendor in SAP
- Purchase inquiries must be constantly followed up until valid vendor quotes are received Vendor quotes must be processed the same day in SAP
- All issues/queries should be followed up on a daily basis
- Guests must be greeted professionally per the company guidelines
- Reports must be maintained on a daily basis
- The system must be updated/maintained with current and accurate information
- Other office tasks as assigned, i.e. follow-up for deliveries, order acknowledgments, etc ...
Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum experience working in an office environment
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Efficient in MSFT 365
- Preference for those with experience reading technical product data sheets, catalogs or technical drawings
