Responsibilities of the Human Resource Manager:

  • Partner with management to identify and address the critical needs of the business and achieve goals that support a long-range business strategy.
  • Provide core HR services such as payroll, benefits, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations matters.
  • Manage projects and programs as the need arises (examples include implementation of new policies, procedures and tools, organizational restructuring, engagement initiatives, etc.).
  • Work collaboratively with the enterprise HR Team to proactively champion enterprise HR strategies and priorities.
  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset to implement new ideas while leveraging data and insights to identify trends and drive decisions.
  • Facilitate effective talent management practices including performance management, talent reviews, L&D, and succession planning.
  • Lead talent acquisition and retention strategies including talent attraction initiatives, talent develop and retention programs.

Qualifications of the Human Resource Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, HR Certification, Business and/or related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated HR experience, experience working in a manufacturing plant a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of local labor laws
  • Demonstrated expertise of cross-functional HR practices and experience influencing and solving complex problems
  • Prior experience leveraging HRIS tools and technology to improve efficiency
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
