Job Summary:

We seek an experienced IT and System Administrator to maintain, support, upgrade, and manage our software, hardware,and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the collaborative skills to support and communicate with a globally deployed workforce. Your goal will be to ensure that our Microsoft Azure GovCloud-based technology infrastructure runs securely, smoothly, and efficiently to prevent downtime or zero-day exploits from occurring.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and managed accounts, workstations, and other software and hardware.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems per NIST 800-171 information security requirements.
  • Maintain, configure, and support home office (Tampa) infrastructure.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Manage the IT budget.
  • Manage IT help desk functions and support.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
  • Manage and maintain network servers and technology tools.
  • Maintain and update IT policies and procedures by NIST 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and address issues and outages

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a system administrator or IT support in Azure GovCloud.
  • Ubiquite LAN configuration, maintenance, and support
  • Proven experience with the following:
    1. GCC High: Government Community Cloud High is a Microsoft Office 365 subscription offered to contractors and other United States Department of Defense elements holding or processing DoD-controlled unclassified information (CUI) or subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations(ITAR). The environment delivers compliance with the Department of Defense Security Requirements and guidelines and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
    2. Azure Government: Azure is the mission-critical cloud used at OWT Global.
      • Implemented and managed data governance, compliance, and risk management strategies using Microsoft Purview, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and enhancing data visibility across the organization.
      • Configured and maintained Microsoft Defender security solutions, improving threat detection, incident response, and protection across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
      • Deployed and optimized Microsoft Defender for Cloud to enhance multi-cloud security posture, implement threat protection, and ensure continuous compliance monitoring across cloud workloads and environments.
      • Configured and managed Azure VPN gateways to ensure secure and reliable connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud resources, optimizing network performance and security.
      • Deployed and managed Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, enabling secure and scalable remote desktop access and improving workforce productivity while maintaining compliance and security standards.

    3. Microsoft Intune: Part of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, is a Microsoft cloud-based management tool for mobile devices that aims to provide unified endpoint management of both corporate and BYOD equipment in a way that protects corporate data.
