Responsibilities:
- Conduct jobsite safety inspections; walk the job daily.
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures.
- Implement, enforce and monitor disciplinary actions for safety violations.
- Keep records of all safety incidents and employee safety violations and forward copies to Safety Manager.
- Assist field supervisors with implementation and enforcement of safety requirements.
- Train field supervisors on Company safety requirements, implementation and enforcement.
- Train field supervisors on STOP Program.
- Assist field supervisors with all OSHA record keeping, accident investigations and reporting.
- Assist with workmen’s compensation claims as needed.
- Assist in job site safety meetings and new hire onboarding.
- Assist in the creation and updating of safety policies and training courses.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical construction or related construction fields
- Previous experience in Safety positions
- OSHA 30
- Strong leadership qualities
- Deadline and detail-oriented
