Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee safety protocols for projects, ensuring adherence to both corporate and contractual safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Director and Project Management to formulate comprehensive safety plans for all phases of construction.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Advise field personnel on safety practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate initial safety orientation for new hires in the field.
  • Monitor site cleanliness and safety to promote a secure working environment.
  • Act as the safety liaison between the construction team, clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary safety-related documentation and reports.
  • Investigate incidents and property damage to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager or Safety Director.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, along with five years of experience in safety management.
  • Certifications: Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance. Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour, Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), First Aid/CPR, and Competent Persons Training are required.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, excellent organizational skills, and familiarity with Caddell's Corporate Safety Program. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is essential.
  • Ability to engage professionally with clients, project teams, and a diverse workforce. Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities are crucial.

Previous overseas experience is highly desirable.
