You'll play a key role in building strong foundations with the wider safety teams and ensuring the safety of thousands of fans, staff, and visitors during high-profile events. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust health and safety policies, processes, and systems to support all departments. Act as the primary point of contact for health and safety queries from employees, visitors, and contractors. Compile, review, and manage all health and safety documentation, including risk assessments, safe systems of work, and COSHH. Stay up to date with HSE legislation and industry trends to ensure the club remains compliant and at the forefront of best practices. Analyse H&S data to generate reports and implement strategies to create a safer environment for all. Record and investigate incidents and accidents, using the findings to reduce future risks. Collaborate with HR to deliver and maintain comprehensive H&S training programs for all staff and volunteers. Lead health and safety audits, including those for the boys' and girls' academies, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that policies and procedures are being correctly implemented. Oversee the implementation of the Club's Health and Safety Policies during large-scale events, focusing on crowd safety and incident prevention. Communicate positive H&S performance to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement. Bring innovative ideas to the table while maintaining exceptional health and safety standards. Support HR with occupational health issues and risk assessments. Promote equality and inclusion within the workplace, helping to create an inclusive culture for all. Qualifications and Experience: NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification. IOSH Managing Safely certification. Proven experience in managing health and safety for large, multi-site operations. Extensive experience in crowd safety management and overseeing large-scale events. Strong understanding of data protection legislation and relevant H&S systems. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office. What's in it for You?
