The Production Builder is an At-Will position and assignment with the client can end at any time, with or without notice, by the client or the Human Bees Associate.

POSITION TITLE: Quality Assurance Test Technician
SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 6:30AM - 5:00PM (4x10)
PAYRATE: $26.00 - 32.00/hr

JOB SUMMARY

  • Tests, inspects, or measures internally manufactured materials or procured products to verify compliance with our Client or Customer furnished engineering drawings and procedures.
  • Completes associated documentation and reports.
  • Makes entries in the QMS database

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete continuity testing (point-to-point wiring verification)
  • Verify wiring workmanship (crimps and routing)
  • Functional QC test – Hi Pot Test or Meg Ohm Test
  • Power Wiring – Verify phasing is correct throughout the control panel and that wire sizing is sufficient for available over-current protection
  • Perform 100% pull test
  • QC – Torque & Torque Seal Applied
  • Produce reports of inspection/test acceptance or non-conformance and make appropriate computer entries.
  • Use programs in the computerized test machines
  • Prepare materials for test applications
  • Perform mechanical testing of test samples including operation of computerized screw driver test machines.
  • Maintain full documentation of test program through pictures, notes, tables, charts, and computer printouts.
  • Assist other personnel in the test department.
  • Maintain test area, equipment, and test samples in a clean and orderly manner.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Able to read and interpret documents such as engineering requirements, safety rules, and quality assurance manual.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Able to speak effectively.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form with some assistance.
  • Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.

REQUIREMENTS
