JOB TITLE: SENIOR RECRUITER

CATEGORY: EXEMPT

REPORTS TO: RECRUITING TEAM LEAD

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for providing recruiting services in support of customer contract requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas: sourcing for candidates, establish and maintain relationships with clients and candidates, and carry out recruiting team processes to ensure Astyra attracts consultants whose skills and experience meet customer requirements.

Primary Duties:

  • Reports directly to the Recruiting Team Lead
  • Attend and be prepared for bi-weekly staff meetings (and ad hoc meetings as determined by senior management)
  • Attend and be prepared for bi-weekly one-on-one meetings/coaching with Recruiting Team Lead
  • Source, pre-screen, generate leads and maintain records of recruitment activities, sometimes under extreme pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities including but not limited to submissions, interviews, placements and correspondence in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Consistently deliver qualified candidates
  • Adheres to specific and varied processes for Astyra’s individual clients
  • Follow up with Account Managers on client feedback received from candidate interviews. Communicate client feedback to candidate as needed
  • Communicate with HR regarding contractor background, status, absences, as needed
  • Performs regular Employee Outreach Communications with current contractors
  • Participate in corporate volunteer events
  • Remain abreast of current and future recruitment trends and needs
  • Work on self-growth using applicable tools as provided by Astyra
  • Perform other duties in relation to the recruiting process as required and assigned by Recruiting Team lead

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 + years recruiting experience in a high volume, fast paced environment; or minimum 3 years technical recruiting experience with 5 years business experience
  • Prior experience in technology staff augmentation or consulting firm required
  • Experience with full cycle recruiting process
  • Experience with ATS Systems: Bullhorn highly desired
  • Demonstrated strong sourcing, networking and internet searching skills
  • Knowledge of current computer technologies, tools and acronyms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to respond quickly and deliver results under pressure
  • Must display a high level of energy, integrity, honesty, and able to exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities, competing demands and deadlines
  • Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be extremely organized, flexible and creative
  • Must have a strong work ethic and a dedicated team player
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and a professional phone presence.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and experience with CRM systems.
  • BA/BS degree in Business or related field preferred or related experience
