Inventory Specialist

Located in Rancho Dominguez, CA, Cordelia Lighting is a long established and successful manufacturer and distributor of quality residential and commercial lighting products selling through multi-channels (retail stores, home centers, E Commerce). We are currently seeking Inventory Specialist.

Our department goal is to maximize the sale and service level of lighting products for various large sales channels through the management of demand forecasts, inventory levels and customer supply chain variables. To achieve this goal, the Inventory Analyst will collect, analyze and present quantitative data and purchase plan to support company replenishment goals and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • 3+ years experience in supply chain, demand planning or inventory management.
  • Review daily lumpy report and issue urgent purchase orders as needed.
  • Review inventory level and determine purchase order quantities as needed.
  • Identify and reconcile forecast exceptions.
  • Support sales and supply chain objectives by developing analyzing and presenting customer data.
  • Recommend and measure changes to improve the customer supply chain process and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Interact with our overseas office to resolve any delivery issue.
  • Manage customer order forecasts and promotional commitments and interact with our major customers’ replenishment team
  • Work with our Sales and Product Development teams on business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

  • Advanced analytics and mathematical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Track record of providing meaningful analysis with measurable business impact.
  • Responsible, positive, and flexible.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate independently and interact with a diverse team effectively and professionally.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience working with home/consumer products is a plus.
  • Experience working with oversea vendor(s) is a plus.
  • Bilingual Mandarin speaking read and write.
