Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a skilled Warehouse Order Picker to join our team in Compton, CA. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for picking and processing inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and processing inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Operating material handling equipment, such as cherry pickers and RF scanners
- Assisting in cycle counting and inventory control
- Resolving inventory discrepancies and maintaining accurate records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Adequate math skills and ability to read location codes and product codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within the organization
Benefits
- Hourly pay: $19.00 per hour
- Overtime pay: $28.50 per hour
