Responsibilities

  • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  • Supervise FOH & BOH staff’s activities
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs as needed
  • Recruit and manage kitchen staff
  • Rectify arising problems or complaints
  • Inventory and ordering of all kitchen related items
  • Perform administrative duties, schedule writing and inventories
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests

Skills

  • Proven working experience in full-service Restaurants
  • Proven knowledge of Labor Laws and staffing best practices
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
