We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist (Part-time) to be a part of our team. This job is ideal for someone who is looking for flexible, part-time hours and enjoys working with numbers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions from invoice receipt to payment
  • Deposit checks, ACH, credit card payments, and wire transfers into company software
  • Submit invoices to customers timely and accurately
  • Enter and match purchase orders to vendor invoices
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payment for vendors
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Service and Sales Departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Collaborate interdepartmentally to develop and implement policies and procedures that aid in department efficiency and improve workflow

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of well-rounded accounting experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • High numerical aptitude
  • QuickBooks experience is preferred, but not required
  • Quick learner and deadline oriented
