Job DescriptionJob Description

Tidewater Staffing Solutions is assisting our Shaker Heights headquartered client with the search for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a long-term contract role (estimated 6 months) that may become permanent. 

Main Duties:

  • Performs collection activities to follow up on unpaid payor transactions and researches discrepancies.
  • Confers with private and public insurance companies by telephone in an attempt to determine the reason for overdue payment, reviewing the terms of contracts, services delivered, and authorizations with the payor.
  • Answer accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or 3-5 years of related experience.
  • ERP experience at Great Plains is a plus.
  • Medical insurance background is a plus.
