Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and evaluation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support the preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Conduct general ledger accounting and perform account reconciliations.
  • Help facilitate month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Work alongside senior accountants and management on various accounting initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company protocols.
  • Provide assistance during audits and help resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications
  • Approximately 2 years of accounting experience, specifically in a public accounting environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Fundamental understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
Compensation and Benefits
