Office Sales Project Coordinator – General Contracting

 

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Project Coordinator to join our general contracting company. This position requires a professional who is adept at acquiring new clients, knowledgeable about construction, especially in preparing bids, and highly organized with the ability to follow instructions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction sales and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed company revenue targets.
  • Identify and target potential clients in need of general contracting services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and market analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts.

Bid Preparation and Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
  • Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and cost estimates.
  • Ensure that all proposals are completed on time and meet client requirements.

Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote the company’s services.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website content, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and marketing agencies as needed.

Project Coordination and Support:

  • Work closely with the project coordination team to ensure smooth handoff from sales to project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to clients as required.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, marketing activities, and bid status.
  • Provide and lead sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing on new clients and managing client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and project management.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
