We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Ossining, NY. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism. This is a full-time position with no weekend requirements, offering competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical assessments and take medical histories of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments; perform medical procedures like blood draws and vaccinations.
- Educate and support patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and home care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, document care, and respond to health status changes.
- Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving measures.
- Support developmental milestones and use play therapy.
- Engage in continuing education and mentor nursing students or new staff.
- Coordinate with other departments and manage supplies.
