We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Equiliem Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced Mental Health unit.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and manage medication administration and management.
- Process physician orders and verify new medication records.
- Provide patient care and support in RCTP OB, RCTP Dorm, Long term care, infirmary, Therapeutic Behavioral Unit (TBU), and General population incarcerated individuals.
- Document patient medications given and refused.
- Conduct medication accountability and stock counts.
- Assess patients and admit to RCTP as needed.
- Document RCTP nursing progress notes.
- Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Minimum of one (1) or more years' experience. ER/MS experience recommended and will be given a priority.
- Orientation will be provided by Security and medical staff upon hire.
- Highly motivated, independent thinker and self-starter.
- Enthusiastic team player.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects. Strong follow-up and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills. (Word processing, office scheduling, familiar with Windows).
- BLS certified and have a current NYS license.
Hours will vary to accommodate the needs of the unit. Weekends and Holidays are required to ensure proper staff coverage. Exact shift and days to be determined during interview.
