We are currently seeking a motivated Solar Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive solar adoption in the local community.

Job Summary:


As a Solar Outside Sales Representative with Prime Energy Solar, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our solar energy solutions to residential customers. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales deals. You will be responsible for educating potential clients on the benefits of solar energy, conducting site assessments, and designing customized solar solutions to meet their needs. Your success in this role will contribute to our company's growth and the expansion of renewable energy in the community.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct consultations with prospective clients to understand their energy needs, explain the benefits of solar energy, and design customized solar solutions.
  • Site Assessments: Conduct on-site visits to assess the feasibility of solar installations, evaluate roof conditions, and gather relevant data for accurate system design and quoting.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotes based on customer requirements, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all documentation.
  • Sales Negotiation: Present proposals to customers, address any concerns or objections, and negotiate terms to secure sales contracts.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and government incentives to effectively position our solar solutions in the market.
Qualifications and Skills:


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets.
  • Technical knowledge of solar energy systems and understanding of the solar industry's regulatory environment.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
