Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm & Saturday 6:00am-3:00pm


The position of Inside Sales Associate will consist of, but will not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:• Responsible for growing and developing sales for EQ&S/Hardware while providing sales support for the outside sales team.• Greeting, engaging, and addressing the needs of customers who enter the storefront, qualifying the customer while providing Superior service.• Assisting in the maintenance of storefront aisles; helping to maintain a signed, clean, and professional storefront to all customers throughout the day.• Engage in training opportunities provided by the company, digitally, and through our vendor partners to keep top-level product knowledge.• Learn the intricacies of the Financing programs available, utilizing this as a sales tool while assisting peers companywide to expand their Financing knowledge.• Stay engaged in online orders via the volution system, to provide a swift response to our customers both in the store and online.• Remain active in bid follow-up and customer call processes to guarantee appropriate follow-up is taken to close the sale.• Assist in seasonal displays, change outs, and the safety and security of storefront products.• Respond to incoming phone calls, voicemails, Job Queues, and emails with a heightened sense of urgency.• Aid with the loading of customers upon completion of sales at the counter, as needed.• Work with management and purchasing to ensure we have the necessary products to meet the needs of our customers.• Work with management to plan vendor training, Demo Days, marketing campaigns, and support the overall sales growth of the Milldale Branch.• Participate in cross-training with the Products and Instruments divisions to ensure a well-rounded knowledge base to better help our customers.• Assist with the opening and closing procedures as dictated by the needs of the business.• Maintain a clean, professional workstation.• Work with management and assist with the process of completing Weekly Inventory Cycle Counts• Utilize feedback from monthly sales follow-up with EQ&S General Manager to impact global sales figures and maintain individual sales figures at or above the company goal.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous sales experience preferred.
  • Must work each Saturday
