  • Monday - Thursday (In Office)

What We're Looking For...

A dynamic, service-driven Payroll and Benefits Partner. The Payroll and Benefits Partner oversees and manages the company's benefits and payroll programs. Your primary objective will be to develop and implement comprehensive benefits and payroll administration strategies that align with our organizational goals and support our employees' overall well-being. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of benefits administration, payroll processes, compliance regulations, and the ability to execute the competitive and cost-effective total rewards programs within a multi-state organization with remote and on-site employees in the United States

What You'll Do...

  • Develop, implement, and administer the company's employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other fringe benefits.
  • Evaluate existing benefit plans, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to ensure competitive offerings and alignment with industry trends.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, brokers, and consultants to negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and resolve benefit-related issues.
  • Manage and oversee end-to-end biweekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to maintain accurate employee records, including compensation data, deductions, and tax information.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies, and address any payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to benefits and payroll, such as ERISA, HIPAA, FLSA, and ACA.
  • Prepare and submit required government filings, including W-2s, 1095-Cs, 5500s, and other relevant reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits, internal controls, and compliance reviews.
  • Administer company leave programs, including ADA, Workers Compensation, LOA and FMLA; in conjunction and partnership with Human Resources Business Partners.
  • Participate in People Data Analytics and Reporting for business partners within business.

What's Needed to Succeed...

  • In-depth understanding of payroll processes, tax laws, and payroll software systems.
  • Familiarity with compensation strategies, market analysis, and job evaluation methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external partners.

What's Required...

  • Proven experience (5+ years) specifically in benefits administration and payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of benefits plans, retirement programs, and related regulations (ERISA, ACA, etc.).
  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelors Degree or Advanced Payroll and Benefits Certification Preferred
