Job Title : Senior Golang / Python Automation Engineer (Yang Model -Networking)

Job Type : W2 / C2C / 1099

Experience : 3-8 Years

Location : San Jose, California and RTP, North Carolina

Responsibilities:

  • 8+ years in the Networking domain (Operations, Testing/QA, Development).
  • Strong experience in Python automation.
  • Experience in GoLang automation.
  • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including BGP, ISIS, telemetry, and Openconfig Yang models.
  • Hands-on experience with IOS-XR based 8000, NCS-5500, and ASR-9000 routers.
  • Proven track record in networking operations, testing/QA, and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
  • Familiarity with network management tools and platforms.
  • Advanced certifications in networking (e.g., CCNP, CCIE).
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Python.
  • Implement automation scripts using GoLang.
  • Design, develop, and implement networking solutions and ensure seamless operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues related to BGP, ISIS, and telemetry.
  • Work with Openconfig Yang models for network configuration and management.
  • Provide operational support for IOS-XR based 8000, NCS-5500, and ASR-9000 routers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
