Position: Senior Backend Software Engineer

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our mission to harness technology for the betterment of humanity. Your work will contribute to innovative solutions that empower various sectors, including businesses, educational institutions, and healthcare providers, to unlock their full potential through our integrated networking approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transform business needs into technical specifications.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and secure code following industry best practices.
  • Produce and evaluate technical documentation and specifications as required.
  • Architect solutions, set best practices, and introduce cutting-edge technologies.
  • Design scalable and efficient systems to meet growing user demands.
  • Conduct comprehensive code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality and security.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of developers, architects, and designers to create web and mobile applications.
  • Provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring successful sprint deliveries and addressing functional and technical challenges.
  • Deliver applications based on established wireframes and client specifications.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience as a backend developer with advanced skills in technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and GlusterFS.
  • Proficient in algorithms and design patterns, with coding expertise in languages such as GoLang, C, Java, and Python.
  • Experience in building high-scale, secure cloud-based web applications, with a strong understanding of APIs and interfaces including REST and OpenAPI.
  • Solid background in both relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL and Redis.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging services like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
  • In-depth knowledge of web performance and accessibility, including security protocols.
  • Adept at learning quickly and making data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work with global teams across various time zones.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to make independent decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
