Position Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled professional to join our Engineering division, where you will play a crucial role in advancing our state-of-the-art Palette platform.

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will oversee our quality assurance efforts and take charge of developing and managing automated testing processes for our premier Kubernetes management solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work atmosphere.
  • Design and implement automated testing protocols for the core functionalities of our distributed platform, ensuring exceptional quality and dependability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine testing strategies and promote continuous enhancement.
  • Create and uphold high-quality test cases for new features and improvements, ensuring thorough test coverage.
  • Utilize your extensive expertise to develop automation tests for both API and UI components.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Linux-based operating systems and provide expert troubleshooting and debugging support.
  • Apply hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containers, and Kubernetes (K8s) to optimize testing methodologies.
  • Preferred: Lead the creation of automation tests using the Robot Automation Framework or Golang-based frameworks like Ginkgo/Go-dog.
  • Promote best practices and methodologies in testing to uphold high quality standards.
  • Collaborate with management to establish strategic objectives for the automation team and monitor progress towards these goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, demonstrating deep expertise in automation and quality assurance.
  • Proven success in leading and managing a team of QA Engineers.
  • Extensive experience in developing automation tests for both API and UI (essential).
  • Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems (essential).
  • Strong capability to create and maintain high-quality test cases for new features.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containers, and Kubernetes (K8s) (essential).
  • Preferred: Expertise in leading the development of automation tests using the Robot Automation Framework or Golang-based frameworks like Ginkgo/Go-dog.
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, along with troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Preferred: CKA or CKAD certification.
  • Must be a US citizen.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in GoLang or Python programming.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting and achieving strategic goals for automation teams.
