  • Salary Range: $85,086 to $97,848 per year (how we pay and promote)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate key findings and present them to senior leaders.
  • Identify problems with data and manually clean data to allow for analysis.
  • Analyze data and performance trends to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain models and visualizations to support business operation activities and decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance business operations.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and best practices to enhance department decision-making.
  • Support the preparation of business cases and justifications for new initiatives and projects.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ years of work experience
  • At least 3 years experience with Power BI
  • At least 3 years experience with Excel
  • Proven experience understanding, cleaning, and combining complex raw data from multiple sources to enable analysis

Basic Requirements

  • Working knowledge of data structures, including relational databases, within enterprise software systems, (e.g., financial, accounting, HR, ERP, CRM)
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel and advanced skills with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
  • Strong experience with Power BI (including ETL/Power Query, DAX, and data modeling)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to clean data to produce accurate and consistent inputs into Power BI or other analysis tools
  • Advanced data analytic skills to create insightful BI reports, including the ability to identify underlying data integrity issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to identify and document requirements and present results to relevant business groups
  • Able to prioritize among multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Able to work onsite at Rockville MD location at least once per week
  • Able to work in the United States without sponsorship for more than three years
