Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Solar Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales. The role requires a significant amount of travel and interaction with clients in their homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for new business opportunities through various channels such as door-to-door canvassing, cold calling, and online marketing.
  • Conduct in-home and on-site consultations with potential clients to assess their energy needs and recommend appropriate solar solutions.
  • Present product and service offerings in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient installation and customer service.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and close deals.
  • Excellent presentation and sales skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with solar technology and installation processes
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
