As a Leveraged Debt Capital Markets Analytics Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our firm's leveraged debt capital markets activities. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, generating insights, and providing actionable recommendations to assist in decision-making processes within the leveraged debt market. Working closely with senior members of the team, you will contribute to the development of strategies and execution of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of leveraged debt markets, including trends, pricing dynamics, and risk factors.
  2. Data Interpretation: Interpret complex financial data and market information to identify opportunities and risks.
  3. Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate potential transactions, assess creditworthiness, and analyze capital structures.
  4. Market Research: Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to provide insightful market commentary.
  5. Presentation: Prepare clear and concise presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and clients, communicating key findings and recommendations effectively.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, trading, and investment banking to support business initiatives and client engagements.
  7. Risk Management: Assist in the assessment and management of risks associated with leveraged debt transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in leveraged finance, investment banking, or related field.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge of leveraged debt markets, including loan syndication, high yield bonds, and structured finance products.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
