Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Greenville is looking for a sales consultant to join our team. This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers to sell new and pre-owned vehicles and products.

Upon hire, you will receive on-the-job training by working one-on-one with a Sales Manager, shadowing seasoned Sales Consultants, and obtaining product knowledge through online training.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram products so you can walk a customer through the differences between vehicle models and features.
- Listen to and identify the customers’ needs when they’re shopping for a vehicle so you can make recommendations.
- Develop and foster relationships with customers to promote customer retention via returning for another trade-in/sale or to utilize CDJR of Greenville’s Service Center for maintenance and repairs.
- Meet and exceed targets by achieving monthly individual and team goals for new-customer acquisition and sales.
- Track progress and results by recording prospect interactions and track goal attainment in CRM system.
- Research and understand CDJR of Greenville’s target market by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and CDJR of Greenville’s overall market opportunity.
- Represent the CDJR of Greenville brand. As a CDJR of Greenville employee, you are an extension of the brand at work, outside of work when in uniform, and on social media if you list CDJR of Greenville as your employer and/or post about your employment at CDJR of Greenville. CDJR of Greenville expects its employees to behave professionally in these environments. CDJR of Greenville expects its employees to contribute to fostering a workplace environment that’s welcoming and respectful to one another. Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Greenville also expects its employees to maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance and language.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in selling a product or service (preferred, but not required);
- Excellent ability to manage and build relationships;
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals;
- Advanced skills in communicating, selling, and negotiating;
- Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs;
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Availability to work Saturdays. (You will have off all Sundays and one additional day during the work week).
Pay: Sales Consultant pay plan, which has the potential of reaching an average of $40,000 to $100,000 (gross) per year. If you are new to the automotive industry, there is a three-month training period with a guarantee pay + commission. After the training period, you will move to the Sales Consultant pay plan.
