Corporate Accountant

 

We are looking for an accountant with experience in financial analysis to join our growing team. This position manages all corporate accounting to include multiple intercompany transactions in Quickbooks desktop. Tasks would include AR, AP, bank reconciliations, month end close outs, financial statement analysis and true up, and year-end supporting entries for the tax accountant. This position will directly report to the owner of the company. This is a full-time position. Full benefits, PTO available.

 

 

Responsibilities

Process all incoming invoices for payment

Collect open accounts receivable

Present a weekly check run to the owner

Reconcile multiple bank accounts

Reconcile balance sheets across intercompany transactions (due to/due from)

Maintain an efficient electronic/paper filing system

Possess the ability to create formulas in Excel

Possess the ability to communicate professionally through email, written correspondence, video conference, and phone conversations

Manage periodical reporting and special accounting projects as required

Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9s for tax reporting

Experience supervising accounting staff is preferred but not required

 

Requirements

5+ years of accounting experience

QuickBooks desktop experience

Microsoft Office experience

Strong analytical skills

Strong communication skills
