Come join our team of dedicated professionals as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, you will work together to apply the power of behavior analysis to improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities or other educational needs.

MBS has over 25 years of Applied Behavioral Analytics expertise. Our approach blends highly customized instructional strategies with extensive experience in educating people with autism. This role is an exciting opportunity to join our growing program.

About our Culture- Milestones is much more than a school or evaluation center. We are practitioners of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) dedicated to advancing the field and sharing our learning to benefit the greater good.

What will you do?

  • Work collaboratively with Special Education Teachers
  • Participate in intake process for new students
  • Implement and/or oversee implementation of assessments
  • Apply Behavior Analytic strategies to improve staff performance
  • Participate in staff evaluation process
  • Provide ongoing supervision as required by BACB for RBTs and/or BCaBAs
  • Participate in provision of supervised field work for behavior analytic candidates as assigned
  • Conduct FBAs
  • Develop Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Provide training and mentorship to classroom team
  • Participate in IEP development meetings, PPTs, supervisor meetings, classroom meetings, and others as assigned
  • In conjunction with SPED, review student graphs and programming and make modifications as necessary to promote student progress
  • Observe programming to assess procedural integrity, student progress, and make recommendations
  • Manage and assist with crisis emergency procedures
  • Attend home and community visits as needed
  • Model high levels of professionalism and confidentiality and ensure staff maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, related service providers, and Local Education Agencies (LEAs)
  • Other duties as assigned

In this role you are required-

  • To physically care for younger children up to 6 years old with or without assistance of one or additional designated persons.
  • The job duties require an employee to routinely and safely demonstrate heavy to very heavy physical demands associated with “hand on” efforts when physically managing students, under routine, emergency, and or aggressive behavior management scenarios.
  • When implementing emergency procedures (PMT), must perform maneuvers and actions associated with managing students independently or as part of an orchestrated team effort.
  • Good leadership, organizational, multitasking, and communication skills (oral and written).
  • To follow all safety procedures and requirements.
  • This position requires in-person, on-site attendance.
  • Thorough background checks are conducted.

We’d love to hear from you if-

  • Hold and maintain active Board Certified Behavior Analyst Credential (BCBA).
  • Hold & Maintain License in the State(s) in which you provide services, as required
  • 2 years experience providing behavior analytic services to individuals with autism or other developmental delays preferred.
  • Meet all supervision requirements as specified by the BACB.
  • Excellent professional, leadership, organization, and communication skills (both written and oral).
