We are looking for  Mid-Market, Senior Full-Cycle Account Executives to come help us rapidly expand our growth even more. 

Tech9 has no external funding and is self sustainable. We have consistently grown year over year and are looking for those who can exponentially impact our growth trajectory. This role is for those who are "builders'' and are willing to be creative in their selling techniques. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Conduct outbound prospecting (cold-calling, emailing, etc.) to identify and qualify mid-market companies ($20M - $500M ARR) with high-growth potential
  • Research creative pipeline generation activities that could target prospects more efficiently (events, conferences, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the SDR team to leverage qualified leads and maximize sales pipeline efficiency
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering) at target accounts
  • Negotiate and close deals with an average deal size of $250k on a 60-day average deal cycle
  • Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed a quarterly quota of $1 million
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Customer Success) to ensure seamless client experience
  • Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans, including target accounts, prospecting strategies, and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and track key performance indicators (OKRs) to measure success and drive strategic growth

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 4-5 years of experience as an Account Executive in a B2B sales environment 
  • Strong experience selling into mid-market segments (as defined as $20-$500 million ARR)
  • Demonstrated history of successful outbound prospecting and building and managing pipeline
  • Demonstrated history of upward mobility starting in an outbound SDR/BDR capacity up to AE 1,2,3,4,etc.
  • Proven track record of dedication to previous organizations (2 years minimum)
  • Experience selling to high-level technology decision makers (CTO's, CIO's, VP's of Engineering, etc.)
  • A track record of achievement in sales, as evidenced by exceeding quotas, receiving internal recognition programs, or industry awards (e.g., President's Club, AE of the year, etc.)

Interview Process Overview:

Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for our AE IV positions. Please note that this is what we expect the process to look like; we may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision.

  1. 30-minute intro session with the CRO/Head of Talent
  2. 1-hour google meet/Zoom interview with the CRO
  3. Myers-Briggs Personality Test (taken on your own)
  4. 1-hour in-person interview with our CRO and Head of Talent
  5. 1.5-hour in-person interview with our CRO and Head of Talent
